New California legislation encouraging litigation against makers and dealers of assault rifles and ghost guns is modeled on a Texas law allowing people to sue abortion providers.
 
Have been expecting this, but I don’t see how it works for so-called ghost guns which aren’t guns and which probably aren’t made or sold in CA.

For abortions it’s easy to scare off providers of the service because they reside in the state and are subject to its laws.

I don't see how that TX law will work, the general public has no standing if a woman wants that medical procedure, same for this pending CA antigun law.

Newsom has no clue about the SCOTUS ruling on the Texas law, but he runs around telling lies about it like the liberal he is.

Feds would just straw sale them in, so like most CA action it would just make things more expensive and since the .gov can just steal more money to pay for them, the only losers would be the people. As usual.

As so should be. After all, it’s “the people” of California that voted in these ass clowns. Elections should and do have consequences.

yeah, i understand that some of the cases are built on privacy rights, and the govt doesn't need that info that should be kept between you and your doc. I think it's a stretch in most cases... but i can see it even if i don't like it.
