After buying and selling several 10mm pistols I’m itching to get a new one and keep it. I came across a new pistol from EAA the 2311 hunter with a 6” barrel. Any thoughts on this? I know many swear by their RIA 2011s and that pistol is on the potential buy list as well. Other options are the Glock gen4 40, gen 5 20 (I prefer the gen 5 grip but really would prefer a 5” or 6” barrel which is why I’m not considering FN), S&W mp performance center model (not a fan of the safety but I think you can remove it), and maybe the Sig 320 endure (had a 320 vtac but never connected with it).

I have the Glock 40/20/29 all in Gen 4.

I do not like the gen 4 grip in 9mm frame size, but on the larger frame of the 10mm guns it works better for me. Just an FYI.

Agree on the gen4 9mm frames, I much prefer the gen5. I had a gen3 20 and 29, sold them to my brother years ago when I needed cash and miss them both, luckily he will still let me shoot them.

Good to know about the gen4 frame for the 40 as I would prefer it to the 20 and don’t want to wait until Glock “innovates” and releases the gen5 40.

I have the 40MOS/20/29 trio as well and the grips feel great to me once I Dremel off the finger grooves…..
They always land dead center of my fingers when I grip the pistol.
Yes, I have fairly large ish hands and sausage fingers.IMG_1668.jpegIMG_1652.jpeg

I am still ironing out Failure to Extract issues with my purchased new Rock Island double stack 9mm so, I’d be reluctant to recommend anyone I like getting one in 10 …

I’d have to go with the Glock and not look back …

Granted, probably not quite what you’re referring to; however; having never owned a 10mm (and not forseeing my ever doing so), when I saw Grand Power has come out with a braced Stribog SPA93 in 10mm I have to admit, it gave me cause for pause … (we own three braced SPA93’s, all in 9mm and with the latest being the “Mini-Bog”; and, after dropping 3-lb fire control groups in all three of them, they remain among our favorite braced pistols. FUN on steel!!!!)

They sold out FAST; however; I am confident Grand Power will have more available very soon … (GZD has always been fantastic to do business with!)

I’ve got to the 24th to decide on this with 15% off and no sales tax. I think shipping is $20 maybe $25. LUCKY24

What was this deal before selling out?

Nice, would love to hear your thoughts comparing it to the 40 when you get a chance.

I’ll be honest, I’ve never shot the 40. The 29 and 20C yes, but not the 40. I plan to shoot the S&W this weekend. BTW, I hung some junk on it the other day. I went with the 507 COMP and it cowitnesses perfectly!
With a full magazine, it is a tad heavy, but I ordered a Kenai chest rig for it because…I really don’t know why but that’s what I did. The Smith feels so much better in my hand.

It’s was $700

Pistols are in. I did the background check yesterday and have to wait until Friday to pick them up. First time having to deal with a three day waiting period, so dumb.

I was pleasantly surprised that both pistols came with the Glock mounting plate package to mount a red dot. I assumed I would have to buy that separately.
