New FN Scar Subcompact! The Perfect Stocking Stuffer!

I always thought the little Scar 16 was pretty meh, moreso after shooting one.
But this little scar is sweet. I'd say it sucks it's not available, but reality is my cheap a** wouldn't buy one.

No availability in the US.
I'd bet FN imports enough of the parts for a conversion. You'll see people buying the 16s, doing the barrel and stock swap. Which actually isn't a bad idea because then you can shoot the 16s while you wait for your Form 1. It appears the handguard is a bit shorter, but as long as the barrel plus a FH clear, or you can do a can, I think it could be done well via conversion.

EDIT: Or, even better, if you can just buy the stock, I am sure Adco and the likes could cut your barrel down to the best length given the handguard length.

yeah. Better off with a Honey Badger clone eh @concepthomes1 ?

Pretty cool gun. I like that more than the big scar, which is.......Uuuuuge.

I wish they would make more durable, cheap, thread on cans for 7.5" barrels.
Doesn't even have to be super light or super quiet. Just something to kill the crack a little and soak up some blast. The Spartan 3 seems perfect but never seems available. Need more choices like that. I'd want a dedicated for something like this that I could just leave on.

That thing is sexy, and that is a term I simply do not give to inanimate objects. I am glad I don't have the money to have to choose between something like that and the HK MP7 and the KAC PDW.

Can't get excited about the Rattler. Sig continues to bufu their customers and release shit products.

Yes. Want.

Who makes a suppressor for a 6” 5.56??

@BigWaylon

Edit: article says 7.5” barrel. Thats easier
Dead Air. No restrictions. They just ask if you're gonna do something completely ridiculous, get video. :D

I've always thought that LWRC set the bar for PDWs. I wanted one of theirs in 6.8 for a long time until 300 BO got so popular and since it is so functional in a short barrel.

Their PDW is unreal

I also like their PSD for a small form factor:

HOWEVER, if they actually release their .45 ACP SMG, I will own one if it means selling my car, paying $20,000 because it's full auto or burst, I don't care. I will have one.

These I can agree on, Scars are great guns but,,,,,,,,,,,, kind of junky for the $$$$. At least that sbr appears to have a stock worth a damn on it unlike the 16 and 17. Not a fan of the scar platform but the shorty looks good
