Same size as the P365XL. I guess they're competing for the people with big hands that want a smaller iron on their hip niche. Looks to be selling for 580$ initially but I'm sure that'll go down.

Hmm, I won’t be getting one because I hate XD’s, but if I had to get one, this would likely be what I would go with

Mmm no.
I like my Hellcat for the small footprint.
I’d provably prefer something different if I wanted to carry a larger gun.

Note to self. You need another d%^N plastic gun. I think I have 6 P365's now. That will make 3 Hellcats.

I’ve never cared for the 365 or the 365XL but I’m on the fence with this one. I just don’t want to go down the rabbit hole again and realize I can’t shoot it well like my Glock 48.

Shoot someone else’s to see if it fits you.

Anybody notice the way they show the length measurement with an optic installed, but the height measurement is on one with no optic? Not deceptive per say, but they're offering best case scenario numbers.

But can you load the magazines? The original Hellcat mags have springs so stiff it’s almost impossible to fill them.

We went from “neat, micro-compacts with useful capacity” to “good news, we invented a Glock 19 that’s less ergonomic to shoot with two hands” in exactly five years.

If you’re going to carry a standard-length grip, why bother? The grip is .1”—maybe .2”—thinner than a “standard” frame, and .2” shorter front-to-back. At that point, just carry the gun that is easier to shoot and spend the extra money on clothes that fit properly, a proper belt or two, and a decent holster.

That’s what I thought with the 365XL and the larger Glock 43. But some folks love em & shoot them well.
I wonder if they’ll make 17+ capacity mags that’ll fit in the Hellcat. That’s be a nice backup mag.

I sold my P365XL specifically because the grip size and shape prevented a proper freestyle grip. My support hand couldn’t make contact with the gun at all—except for the slide stop, which got blisteringly hot quickly.

I decided I would rather give up a couple rounds of capacity and carry a 9mm Commander or CCO that carries as slimly but can be gripped properly. So that’s what I did.

First off, I love the Hellcat! But. I wouldn't have this abomination if they were paying me to take it. They just built a less concealable Hellcat with the same capacity. WTELF?

As someone that owns a hellcat, my FIRST impression was yours. "HOLY CRAP THIS IS HARD TO LOAD!" However, it seems the mags quickly "break in". Granted, those last 1 or 2 rounds is a pain, they do break in! When practicing, I only load 5 per mag anyways.

That's good to know. Right after I started using mine I took a class from @divisionarmsllc , John was fun busting my chops for dragging the class.

That thing (like all Springfield polymer pistols) is fuuuugly. I’d begrudgingly get any glock instead.

I think that is one ugly pistol. Maybe it will feel and shoot better than it looks. But, it just looks odd.
