New Holster Tier 1 Axis appendix (Fat Guy Pics Inside)

Got my holster today. Craftsmanship is nice. Wore it to supper and some errands. Standing up is is the most comfortable holster I’ve ever worn. Sitting down was a learning experience but I loosened my fat boy belt and lifted it a bit and was fine to sit with. I did have to move my belt buckle to my left side to accommodate the clips on the holster. Here’s a few pics and yes I’m a large framed guy so don’t look if hairy fat belly’s gross you out lol

Wow, nice holster....but look where that gun is pointing!!!! That's scary!

No more scary than a lot of things in life plus if for some reason it goes off maybe I can get a bigger prosthetic lol
Nice!!
I'm really praying your parts don't bet shot off....lol.....
I wish I could un-see that gun pointing south......
Wonder how many guys have guns pointed at their personal parts?

Non issue, guns dont go off by themselves anymore, they passed laws against that.

For anyone wanting to see the difference between Zbizzle911's Axis and the T-Rex sidecar. Even without the ability to flex in the middle, this holster style has been the most comfortable mode of carry I've used to date. Even while seated. If I can find a good deal on a used Axis, I'd love to give it a shot though. Can't have too many options.
@Zbizzle911 - I do highly recommend the infinitely adjustable style belt. It makes a huge difference. My belt is a Blue Alpha Gear low profile EDC. At $30 bucks shipped I was skeptical but this belt absolutely rocks. More rigid than my Wilderness 5 stitch and the low profile buckle is great.

The pics have been burned into my brain!!!!

I like the holster...it just looks uncomfortable for us bigger guys
Sorry if I ruined your spank bank lol IT is actually much more comfortable than I thought it would be. I really figured i'd wasted the $$ because I just knew it wasn't going to be comfortable but so far I was wrong.

Yeah I can see where it'd be better. I think I'm going to get one but it'll probably be the ares gear one so that its easier to adjust on the fly since it doesn't use velcro.

That is called "Appendix Carry" and yes, it does point the muzzle at some questionable places. In the OPS case, he is perfectly safe as even chance isn't a good enough shot to take out his tackle.

Modern firearms don't "just go off" on their own, so as long as he stays away from the trigger it isn't inherently any less or more dangerous. Guns aren't supposed to be futzed with once put on. If you notice the negligent discharges you hear about, 99.9% of them involve someone messing around with their gun when they shouldn't have been. Playing with it in the car, showing it to friends, moving it when unnecessary and so forth.

Personally, I am not a fan of appendix carry due to my little belly flap I am working to get rid of. But Zbiz gives me home. It can be a very efficient and sound way to carry.

@Zbizzle911
How do you like the Klikbelt so far? Is it easy to make on the fly adjustments?

So far it’s great. I’m wearing the buckle one slot to my left so to not interfere with my holster. I can with one hand let it out and with two hands easily take it up. It’s made well and is very comfy

I just ordered the Tier 1 Axis Slim for my Walther PPS M2. I've never spent this much on a holster before. I'll update once it arrives.

Another vote here for the Tier 1. I'm running the Agis (basically the same as yours but with snaps to hook the mag holder). I really love it.
Although, Im running it without the mag holder right now and pocket carrying a my spare mag. Just helps me conceal it better. I may go back to the mag holder eventually.

The Axis Slim for my PPS M2 arrived today. I wore it around the house all evening. I like it so far. Not a whole lot different from the T-Rex Sidecar I have for my G19. I’m a big fan of this style holster.

So heres my two month review. The more I wear this holster the more I love it! It is super fast to get the gun out and on target and its comfortable. I run my belt very loose and when I go to sit down i just give it a little adjustment to let it rest again my stomach instead of pushing in. I sat in church Sunday with it on for the whole service and it was fine. I would defiantly recommend this holster for anyone wanting to carry appendix

I’m thinking one of these might be in my future. I just ordered a TLR7 and need a way to carry it on my Glock 45 and it looks like they make a holster for it. I used to have a G-code INCOG with a mag caddy and I’m a big fan of that type of carry. I like they way they attach with the bungee cord; looks pretty comfortable.

Funny you posted this. I was coming to update my thread. I love apendix carry! My p320c axis is awesome and comfy. I ordered one for my p365 and it should be here tomorrow. Really hate I didn’t start carrying like this years ago. I’d love to hear your thoughts if you get one of the tier ones.

Appendix carry is great, I love it. I need to wait and until my streamlight TLR7 gets here to see if i like it. If I do, then I will definitely be needing a holster and will probably go ahead and order one of these. I’ll definitely update if I end up getting one.

I really like my tlr7 you should too I’d think. It’s bright and compact.

I hope so, I’ve been looking for a nice compact light and I did not like the XC1 or the APL-C, but I’m a streamlight fan and I have high hopes for the TLR7.

Only thing I don’t like is I wish I could figure out how to make it momentary only. Sometimes I hit the light and let go too fast which makes it stay on until you hit the button again.

If you hold it down it’s momentary only right?

So my axis for my p365 came today. I’ve worn it out to run a few errands and it’s great. Love it so far like I do the one for my p320c. Gets me 24 rounds of 9mm with the 12 round mags in a small package.

So after going back and forth on ordering one, I actually went with another company that a friend recommended. It’s made by Tuctite and called the Annex. I like the pad on the bottom that is supposed to help keep the grip in tight.

So many angles... that thing looks very uncomfortable

I got something similar for my P07 from Knightfall Customs. No wedge though. I found them to be pretty uncomfortable. Although the the Dr Sholls Gel Pad mod isn't so bad.
