- Have lived in Pittsboro, Chatham Co, NC for approx 17 years
- US Navy - Submarines for 9 years
- Recently retired from Corporate Finance/Accounting. Looking for anything to fill my days.
- Like to shoot steel targets, sporting clays, plastic water bottles, varmints, etc.
- Shoot ARs, shotguns, rimfire, PCP airguns, archery, but suck at pistols
- Do not hunt for food, so I don't shoot deer, doves, etc. Although I have done it, not fond of gutting/cleaning animals. My pal Harris Teeter supplies me with meat already cleaned and packaged.
- Also mountain bike and whitewater kayak. I usually ride Briar Chapel trails a couple times a week. Paddle Gauley River in WV and the WW park in Charlotte. Wilson Creek near Morganton.
- Like to fish, but not very good at it. I used to build my own poles and fish a lot as a kid on West Coast. Mostly trout/salmon/steelhead. If you want to take me fishing and let me pay for gas, I'm in. I'm a catch & release fisherman.
- I don't talk politics (they are ALL crooks), religion, beat my dog or wife, smoke or drink. Vices are mild cursing, sweets and Mountain Dew.

Hi James! I'm also in Pittsboro, and I'm glad you found us.
