Good morning to everyone,

I am currently using as a range bag a midway usa competition one. Nothing wrong with it at all, has served me great, looking for something that is not a giant pit. Better organization. I carry first aid, glasses, pro timer, ear pro, sunscreen, bug spray, magazines(15) parts for rds, stapler, extra holster and mag pouches, oil rag, small cleaning kit, and probably other stuff im forgetting.
Looking for something that will let me better organize instead of dumping most items into the main compartment.

Thanks and have a Happy and safe 4th

Steve

I use one of these. I got turned onto them through my father who has a few he uses
Let me get this out of the way - I paid about 15 from my local Ace Hardware, 1/3 price on that link

Outside pockets fit AR mags really well
Inside you have the tool loops - pistol mags work well
Then other stuff tossed inside including some ammo
On the ends you have elastic pouches for gunlube wipes, extra ear plugs etc etc

The Eberlestock Bang Bang bag is the one I’m snagging next. It is similar to the midway, but has organizers in the “giant pit”. Also a hard bottom that can store pistols, broken down SBR, etc.

Range bags are like holsters. You need a herd. I’ve got a 5.11 bag, a GPS backpack and a smaller bag. They all serve a purpose. I like options depending on my plans for the range that day.

I use a similar bag from Harbor Freight. They offer them in several sizes and some with a shoulder strap.

My parents got me a longer one (with a shoulder strap) but not sure where it came from and Ive yet to use it in that capacity.
But this style is very nice for a range bag

I've been using one of these as my general range bag and have been happy with it.

Amazon product ASIN B00VKN01XW
Each of the large zippered side pockets has sewn in pistol mag pouches (like 7 or 8 per side), along with a double-sided padded pocket that acts more or less like a 3 pocket divider. There are pockets on the short end as well, in addition to two padded removable dividers in the main compartment. I usually have mags in the pouches, cleaning kit/CLP in the long pocket, eye pro in one short pocket, ear pro in the other short pocket, with main compartment having one or two optics boxes in one section, tool kit in another section, and several boxes of ammo. The other long pocket is usually where I dump my spent mags. Surprised at how much stuff I can fit in it and still stay somewhat organized.

As an aside, what's up with the amazon links?
Mine looks borked and now so does @Supermatch link

Bought an Explorer range bag on Amazon. Many years and many matches and range days. Even blew part of a pocket off with a muzzle brake. Still works great.
