New Sig P365

Looked smaller to me. Maybe the guy in the video is huge.

It probably is smaller than the HK. But unless it is strictly for pocket carry and you are limited by your clothing brand the entire size thing gets a little overblown IMO. It cracks me up when people are arguing over 1/10 inch.

I just put my VP9SK beside the Shield. If this new Sig really is smaller than the Shield, (to quote Oscar Mayer) "We may have a wiener".

I bet it has the Sig "secret trigger" function, where whacking the back of the slide hard enough makes it shoot.
Maybe @chiefjason will develop a shoulder rig with gun on one side and mallet on the other?

Interestingly the size stats on this are very close to my P938, which I thought was very tiny. Other than overall height, 3.9" on the 938 compared to 4.3" on the P365, they are within .1" on everything else. Weight is within 1.7 ounces too. I will definitely like to coonfinger one when they come out.

Per the specs this is smaller than the Ruger EC9s and I pocket carry that with ease and really like it.
It is just a tad wider but looks interesting.

I have the LC9s, and I know it's about half the dinero than that Sig. I also have a Shield, which I don't shoot as well as the LC9s. "The next big thing."

The EC9s has extended mags to get it up to 9+1...but this has to be makin the other guys rub their heads. Ruger still has a price edge but everyone else has to be unhappy about this.

My shield is 10+1 also, has the mag guts spring but i find myself carrying the Ruger more because of how slim and rounded it is and it is very easy to shoot accurately. I don't own a Sig and after the current debacle I don't see that changing anytime soon. It is nice to have options though:D

Should be interesting to see how it shoots, being so small and light. Particularly with +P's.

Noticed that it is shorter, thinner and lighter than a G26. I see that the went S&W way on the magazine to increase capacity. Not a true double stack but staggered. Anyone see how much these are going to cost?

it seems like the "competitors" that are close are the G26 and the often overlooked SCCY CPX-x.

the SCCY actually compares very favorably in terms of size and costs around $200. I regret selling mine and am on the lookout for another.

this def seems like it's worth a look though!

List is $600

One of the guys here found them being presold online at $530 shipped (is that 5.3 large????).

So, 5.3 small?

Benjamins (portrait of Ben Franklin) or Yards (100 yards) are slang for $100 bills. New pew pew could be 5.3 Bennies :)

Don't know these guys but they must be registered Sig fanboys to get one so soon.

I saw somewhere a dealer was taking pre orders for $499, not too shabby. Kinda takes a crap on Springfield Armorys new micro 9 pistol announcement. With Ruger putting out a lot of stuff recently and now Sig and Springfield Armory, wonder how shot show is gonna go.
