Heritage has has added a “Tactical Cowboy” to their line! Now those with rimfire cans are able to suppress a rimfire revolver … and the NRA writers love it so much it’s Gun of the Week!

“A six-slot Picatinny rail segment is included on the top of the gun's frame. This allows the mounting of various optics right to the top of the revolver, if so desired. The rails have a notch cut down the centerline, which functions as the rear iron sight. At the end of its 6.5" barrel, the muzzle is threaded to allow for use with suppressors, and the gun comes with a thread protector attached. On top of the barrel, the front sight post holds a red fiber-optic insert for increased visibility.”

WOW, the suppressor world really needed to fill the lack of rimfire revolvers … even better you can buy a .22wmr for more money (like $30) so you can suppress .22 magnums!

I’ve considered having this one threaded for goofs. I’d bet it would be quieter than any suppressed semi auto pistol out there.

The 101’s are kinda like the Mossberg 40’s Rimfire Trainers … undervalued for what you get. I get your “for goofs” thing but if done properly by a smith who cares for the appearance with a well turned “hidden” thread protector it would be a definite conversation piece. Yeah you’d spend more on the work than you likely could get for the 101 but how many people would have one? Even funnier would be those who snicker at you screwing a can onto a “revolver” until you pull the trigger!

This one was my grandpas and I think he’d get a kick out of the idea.

I have a rough rider tc and it’s about the worst suppressor host there is. I’ve sent it back and they have worked on it twice. The cylinder gap is just too big.
