I just picked up in trade a Model 19-5. It has some holster wear but feels tight and proper. I shot some mouse fart .38 reloads through it yesterday and a couple cylinders of .357 factory ammo, and it’s a pure joy to shoot. I’m not sure if I will keep it, but so far, it’s great, even at my 100 yard E-Type.
If I keep it, I think I’ll bob the hammer and put in a XS front sight.

But it looks so good like it is.

Matt, great pick up. I'm old and old fashioned, but I still believe that the 2 1/2" M19/66's are the end all be all for carry handguns.
As Billy noted make it yours.

Nothing wrong with holster wear on that gun!

I have its twin. Back in 1987 the was a FFL in the company I worked at that had a habit of posting but then dropping the price. He had it posted for sale beyond my budget. About a month later $200. Hear that sound? I sucked that one up! Still have the original box, everything.

That's the one going to my friend that helps liquidate everything.
