The numbers they give for the other calibers is based off factory ammo, you can push the 6.5 prc faster than 2900, hell, I’m just over 2800 with the CM.

I’m interested in building a 6.5 saum

With handloads you should be able to push it beyond 3,000 easily. And the Mark V is a really strong action. I don't think I would get it in a Vanguard though.
