Are you going to run the Magpul barrel mounted optic mount also?

I have a 10/22 take down that I want to run the Magpul mount but not the Magpul stock. Have any of you ever saw a factory take down forend modified for the Magpul optic mount?

I honestly have no idea what I'm gonna put on it yet. Most likely something with at least a bit of magnification since I can't see as it is.

It should be easy enough to do. The Magpul mount attaches to the barrel itself, not the stock, so it should be as simple as relieving a little plastic in the barrel channel on the factory forend.
 
That barrel won't fit a takedown.
 
I dunno. I'll have to defer to someone with that barrel and that suppressor. Seems a valid concern though....

First Match will be April... probably 2nd weekend. I am sure Roe will post the dates on the forum when he finalizes. The more the merrier... I will tell you this. It is the most challenging rimfire competition going. And that includes all the new PRS, NRL etc... But it is heck of a lot of fun!
