That noob is me. Up front apology for my ignorance as I've never stepped into nfa territory before. I know what I want (I think). Who is a good class III dealer in the Charlotte/Mooresville/Statesville area that will do the transfer from thunderbeast for me and help my ignorant azz along the way?

I bought a TBAC .22 takedown on a whim and it has been awesome!

Would love one of their big ones for a .308 bolt gun.

As suppressors go the Ultra 7 is a great usable suppressor and does a great job. But for fun a rimfire can puts more grins on faces to me than any other can. It is so much fun to be able to actually hear the hammer fall ... it’s an ear to ear grin. While you’re going thru the process go on and get a .22TD and you won’t be sorry be it a little rimfire pistol or boltgun.

Can you do more than 1 suppressor on a tax stamp or do you have to have a stamp for each?

To clarify, the stamp is more or less for the serial number. You don't go get a stamp and then pick a silencer...you buy a silencer and file the Form 4 with the SN of that particular one.

And so you repeat that process for every F1/F4 you file. One per serial number.

Thanks for all the info, y'all. I'll be giving Scott a call tomorrow or Friday.

Does anyone have any experience with the ultra 5? Reason I've considered it, is 1) this can will spend 99% of it's life on a 14.5in 300BO and 2) I like how compact and light it is.

Just for entertainment and drooling purposes, Ray posted this on ARF yesterday:

Here are some stacks in the process of being welded together. Thought you Ti can guys would like to see

Notice lack of pretty colors. Pretty colors aren't acceptable as cool as they look. Only the first two on this chart make it through QC for us.

Hi sir,

with the 50% off coupon for a TBAC can you would have to buy directly through TBAC and then they ship to a local dealer of your choice.
TBAC will not allow you to buy from a dealer at 50% off and then reimburse the dealer. As long as they have the item you want in stock, it should only
take a week or two for the dealer to receive the suppressor after your purchase. Ultra 7 is a better choice than the Ultra 5. Go with the CB version.

Scott
