Really needs a White Sparrow!!

There was a sweet limited edition set with a PPK and Spectre that came in either black or stainless as well.

Have you shot this can in the short config? I have the same can. I just shot mine today.

Is yours a Rev9 or 45? I’ve got the 45. How did you like it? I am very pleased with it so far.

I have not shot it in short yet, have only put ab 50rds of 147gr 9mm through it at this point. Was looking into buying a 9mm end cap but everything I’ve seen online says there is no noticeable difference so I decided not to spend the $60.

Planning on shooting it in K config as well as running it on my 300BLK next time I go out.

Mine is the Rev 9, although the owner's manual inside the box was for the Rev 45. Lol.

I only shot one mag through it (15rds), but I was amazed at how quiet it was. I shot 10rds while my Dad was feeding the dogs. When I approached him, he asked if I was going to shoot my gun. I handed him 10 casings. He wanted to know where I found them. I told him I picked them up after I shot them. He never heard me shoot. Lol.

I want to try it in K config next, but at the moment, I can't get the piston housing out of the booster assembly housing.

Edit: Identified and corrected the name of the components.

One bit of advice Jeremy gave my when I picked it up was to go ahead and pull it apart and put a small amount of Hoppes#9 or similar oil on the baffles as it makes them much easier to clean after a few hundred rounds.

I’m assuming yours came with the armorers tool? You will have to remove the piston with the rubber wrench included before you can remove the extension with the tool.

Your comment about the armorer's wrench made me curious. Since the Christmas shenanigans have finally waned, I decided to research a bit.

I bought my Rev 9 in late March. I found a thread at another site that mentioned an available upgrade. I'm guessing I have a gen1 can and the gen2 cans come with the improvements. Although this would definitely help me in my situation, I'm not sure I'm ready to spend $145 on it. I'm just wondering why I can't get these two pieces apart. I don't want to try much harder for fear of damaging something.

I just looked at your pic again. You have the gen2.

Their website states "Mod 3 REV 9 Serial starts at REV9-0885". I'm assuming yours is before that?

I bet that [pretty] sucker is loud!
It really isn't. The cqb muzzle brake on the end does a great job and reducing concussion and noise. A lantac dragon or vg6 epsilon is much much louder in comparison.

I'll try to be more active. New job is a lot of work on social media so I get my fill as it is. Anyway. Primary Weapons MK107 Upper on my RA Mod 2 SBR lower. Snow makes for great photo backgrounds.

I'll be filing a Form 1 for my Mk1Mod2 lower this year. I've got the 16" upper but want the 11" Mod 2 upper. Never considered the 7", but how do you like it?

I actually like it a lot. It's not near as mount as people.l speculate it to be. It's accurate and I've had zero issues with is so far but that's only with a few hundred rounds. I shoot my camera more than my guns when I go to the range.

I got my cans out today to do some re-configuring and took a group photo. I need to drop some of them in ultra sonic cleaner sometime soon.

I can identify most of those...

I'm not sure I've ever taken a pic of all mine. Always small subsets. When the last ones get approved (four filed in Jan), maybe I'll do that.

I do still have one approved F1 for a 5.7 can (want to build it for my AR57 SBR) that I've never built...and it's been approved for 2 years at this point.

Which ultra sonic do you use?

I got one off Amazon. I would go check brand but honestly, you don't want the one I have. It has 480 second run cycle and I have to sit at bench and keep restarting. Not too too horrible if I have other stuff to do but still a pain. I have read about hacking the model I have to get rid of that timer but haven't done it yet. It wasn't the simplest of tasks. If I had to do it all over again, I would chose a different model.

Damn man, I wish I had your patience. I knew about most of these being approved before Scott did because I track trends and start calling ATF weekly when I get close lol. No way I could have a form 1 approved for more than 48 hours and not assemble. My next form 1 SBR should be coming up within next month and the calls have began. All parts stored appropriately apart are feeling the gravitational force to form Voltron but must resist until the day the stamp comes in the mail and not a day later.

The SBR has been done for years. This is for a F1 silencer for it, instead of the Spectre I normally use. It's (hopefully) going to be a larger volume monocore...maybe 1.25"x7". Wanted to go that route instead of the Gemtech SAR-57. Gonna need some help on making it, which is why it's not done.
