I'm looking for a good set of night sights for my G19. I would like to have a set that is easily seen during the day as well. I have seen some that are a outer shell of fiber and have the glow center. Any experience? Brands I should look at? Thanks

I'm just starting to play with aftermarket sights. The first I bought were TFO's that I recently put on a Shield. I'm sure there are better solutions available but the difference between the stock M&P sights and the TFOs is literally night and DAY.

I've recently bought two sets of aftermarket sights on forums. I get the impression lots of guys are swapping them around searching for the right solution.

Not fiber, but the Trijicon HD's have a outline also.

I have an Ameriglo GL212-GR-C front and a Hackathorn rear. Love this combo. Can't miss it in daylight and the green ring glows if charged for a couple seconds too. I can take a better pic if you like.

I like my Trijicon suppressor sights on the RS. Im going to outfit another 19 with a set soon so I can get one step closer to a can for it.

Heinie 8's seem to work well for me. I checked their site once and noticed you can send in a slide and they'll install for you for a reasonable price. Might upgrade a couple guns at some point.

Thanks for the input guys! From what I have read the truglo tfx fit the bill for what I'm wanting. They get some good reviews and it seems they are having a $20 rebate on them too ATM. Thanks guys!

I highly recommend Ameriglo Spartans. I got them at OpticsPlanet with a 10% off code for $80 shipped.

Mine are the Green rear / Orange front. REALLY jumps out in bright sunlight too.

Just my opinion:
Not a fan of the truglo as they seem to take almost 1/2 an inch of sight radius away. And they seem huge/clunky. Along with big green dots on rear sight, which are distracting.
I like the shorter (front to back) front sight of the trijicon and ameriglo, personally, for carrying. Lower profile, too.

Trijicon suppressor height as seen through a RMR that's off
