Night vision

I had a Gen II clip on and Gen III PVS-14 for a while. Got rid of them and went with thermal.

Night vision was extremely cool to me several years back, before I bought a FLIR PS32 handheld. Then I started using the FLIR more for spotting and then switch over to NV for taking my shots. FLIR picks up way more critters than night vision does. It's crazy. Night vision required movement for me to pick up anything. Thermal will light up when the bunnies or skunks are just hanging out in the grass. You can scan an entire pasture left to right in seconds and know if anything is out in it. NV you had to go extremely slowly, taking pauses to pick up on the movement. Much slower.

I have the entry level Pulsar thermal scope now. It and my FLIR are a good combo for me. If I had the extra cash I would have gotten one of the Pulsars with video out or onboard recording. So I can better tell where I screwed up my shot! lol.

My critter-gitter.

I've looked through Pulsar, FLIR, Sig, and Torrey Pines thermal units. I like the Pulsar units.
