NOFX : The Hepatitis Bathtub and Other Stories
I dont feel like this will gain a strong interest here, but Im going to post it anyway because I really do recommend it.
This will be the second book Ive ever read a second time in full, and not for educational/school reasons.
I borrowed a copy from a friend about 18 months ago, and recently bought a used copy for myself.
This book is the autobiography of the band NOFX, a punk band that got their start in the late 90s (IIRC).
I dont think it matters if you like the band or genre, it's just a good story.
Many will know of NOFX from the frontman's terrible comments in Vegas in 2018 where he stated something to the effect of "Well some concert goers got shot here a few months back, who cares, they were country fans, not punks..."
He's a jerk.
But this book, where each of the guys are telling their live's tales independently is fantastic.
These guys shouldnt be alive. Im not calling for their deaths, but Im stating from their stories the fact they lived through so much is incredible.
I laughed. I squirmed with uncomfortable thoughts. I cried.
Life, death, drugs, random road stories, BDSM, being molested/beaten/abused. It's got it all.
I am not a huge fan of the band, but the book is one of the most entertaining reads Ive ever had.
And I wanted to tell the greater population here about it.
