Interesting that they would built this since you don't see too many of these type handguns around. It's been ages since I've seen an XP100 but I guess there must be some kind of crowd that wants it.

If, and I stress IF you can lay hands on an XP 100 action you have something..... Shorter than a 700 short action and stiffer, ideal for a build.....

XP100’s are rare nowadays but Remington did come out with the XR100 a few years back, chambered in .204 I believe. Supposed to be the same dimensions as the XP100 and just as good for rifle builds

Way back when, I had a very lightweight and compact rifle built on an XP 100 action. 16.25 inch barrel and chambered in .221 Fireball in a Brown Precision fiberglass stock. One hole shooter, no recoil, and deadly on groundhogs to about 250 yards, or so. Wish I still had it.

A friend of mine had one chambered in .22 Hornet but he didn't know how to reload so all he ever shot was factory (back when they were available) I tried on numerous occasions to beat him out of it, even tried with alcohol several times, and once offered the services of a girlfriend but since it really belonged to his Uncle he wouldn't part with it. Never did tell the GF about that....

I've got a XP100 in 221 fireball... Been in the family since 1976 Love that thing.

I'd like one of theses Nosler, but $2,500 is a little steep. Which is good news for the price of XPs will go up.

I'll just keep shooting 40gr. Nosler BT Spitzers out of the XP and pretend.

So you could swap it for 6 Glocks?

I had a 221 & a 7mm BR. And regret trading those off. I killed a truckload of groundhogs with the 221. The BR was a handful.
