I think that I am going to have to change my name from KnotRight to Shooting Low.

Went to the range today with 2 pistols (Colt/Walther 1911-22 and old S&W 60 2") and 2 rifles (Marlin and Ruger #1 both in 45-70). All 4 guns were shooting low.

The Handguns were from 15 to 25 yards and the rifles were from 50 to 100 yards.

The 1911 did have some adjustment for elevation left. TWith the Marlin I had the buckhorn sight all most to the top of the ramp. I might have to change out the front sight on that gun. The Ruger 1 has a scope on it and I ran out of bullets before I could hit the bowling pin @ 100 yards. Ever shot was within an inch of the pin.

Have you had this problem with these guns before? Did you change ammo?
