Huntersville Waffle House robbed at gunpoint
Detectives said the robbery happened around 4:15 a.m. at the Waffle House on Statesville Road.

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Huntersville Police are investigating after a Waffle House was robbed at gunpoint early Wednesday.

Detectives said the robbery happened around 4:15 a.m. at the Waffle House on Statesville Road. The suspect entered the store and demanded cash before running away from the property.

The suspect is described as a black male with a slim build and shoulder-length hair. He was last seen wearing black pants, a gray hoodie, gold-framed glasses and a black baseball hat.

Anyone with information about this incident or any other crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-896-7867.

I went to bars cause I'm a man, but we hit IHOP at 3 in the morning. The customers were much better than at the WH.

One day our boss walked in to the IHOP he was married to a white lady but came through the door with a black women and said "hey guys this is my sister" the next morning he called me for a favor.

I feel like I'm the President when I eat at Sheetz in Raleigh at 2AM,
they have an armed security guy or gal in the store.:)

On the rare occasion that I do go to WH, I am loaded for bear. Carry two pistols and keep one hand out of sight for times like this.

In college we used to go to the overnight Krispy Kreme for entertainment.
 
Nothing good happens after 1AM...

But, that's when the fun stuff starts. :D
 
During duck season we frequent the Waffle quite often at 0300. We're usually wearing waders and for some strange reason no one bothers us. Can't figure out why?
 
Chateau de Wafflé must have some great robbery insurance as much as they get hit.
