Novant Health reporting drug tests to Meck Sheriff?

Out of curiosity do you know how long it remains detectable? I believe they like to pull hair and test that. I’m thinking 60 odd days. Hmm, good that I shave my head. :D Just kidding, but I do shave my head.

Daily use in urine would be detectable for up to 45 days, with other factors (weight, etc) in play. The THC metabolite that is detected in testing is a big, hairy molecule, that not only wreaks havoc on LCMS columns, it also tangles up in your fat cells. So if you use daily, it has a much longer detection limit. You can even spot it up to 3 months, but it will typically be below reporting limits.

It has the inverse effect in saliva, where it can only be detected within a few hours of use.

I would be surprised is anybody outside of the most stringent of employers is doing follicle testing.

notice there is no clear law on OPEN carry and drinking... weird.

It's not weird. It's legal. You can just uncover your pistol and have a beer legally. BUT you can't OC in a bar. There's no law allowing OC either. It's your right and therefore not illegal. No statute needed.

Drinking laws tied to CCW are a bullshit catch 22 that the Dems/Rinos/Religious asshats amended to the legislation and we the people took it to get CCW on the books. It's only a thing in a few states.

If you are legal without a gun, you should be legal with a gun. Period... I travel a good bit from FL to PA and West to TX... Most of the states I spend time in allow drinking at least to the legal driving limit while carrying. PA has no rules at all. You can be tanked and conceal. Amazingly, the streets don't run red with blood and it's a non-existent issue. Yet many (even the don't tread on me crowd around here) don't think you should be allowed to have a glass of wine or beer at dinner and maintain your right.

Below is a link to the actual form one must sign in order to apply for and receive a concealed carry permit in NC. Look in the top right corner, if this person applied for a concealed carry permit, he gave his consent for the sheriff's office to review every medical record regarding his physical and mental health, substance abuse and any confidential court records. I am not bringing this up to debate the legality or constitutionality of this process, just showing that he gave his permission for that information to be received and reviewed.

Is this something fairly new? I don't recall anything like that in my application for my permit. (That was a year or two ago, though.)

It's been part of the process since the beginning of 1995. See below.fullsizeoutput_804.jpeg

He also tested positive though so what do you believe?

The “tests” were done in March and this letter was sent in late September. They “tested” bloodwork done when he went to the ER. The admission to Psych about MJ use was in May. I don’t understand what’s so hard about the timeline here
