Anybody headed to Dallas for this year's show? A group of us rimfire shooters are headed that way to shoot a match and hit the show as well.
 
I had plans to attend, air tickets in hand, passes in hand and then LJ decides she has to go to a conference in CA that she had scheduled for a year but never told me about it. Like I'm supposed to remember when she has conferences that repeat every year??
Harsh words were exchanged, separate meals were prepared and sleeping arrangements changed for a few days, but to answer the question, I guess I'll skip it this time....
 
Got there early to park inside the Omni deck and walk across the street to the show.
Ran into a few nice people, Jerry Miculek and his wife Kay, Les Baer,
Greg Kinman aka Hickock45, yes he is 80" tall, and Anthony Colandro,
owner of Woodland Pk Range in NJ 'Gun for Hire'.
Anthony ran unsuccessfully for NRA Board in 2017, he plans to run again in 2019.

I did not attend the ILA meeting, returning to Raleigh on Saturday morning.
Did take a drive to Waco with my wife on Thursday to the Magnolia Silos and the Texas Ranger Museum.
Hope to see you in Indy, in 2019!

Did you see what else came out about this??? Colion Noir posted on IG screen shots from their facebook where they talked about hoping to take money from gun lovers so they couldnt support the NRA as much.

Doesnt matter now that it's over, unfortunately.

Hadn't heard that part. Just the discussion about the word spreading asking nobody from the convention to go there...

I'll try to screen shot the stuff later and post it tonight, but they apparently made comments that were very anti-2a before the NRA meet.

They also changed their message at the bottom of the receipt after all of the backlash. But it'd already blown up, their damage control didnt work.
 
They are reporting $15K donation. Perhaps they should send $30K.
