Empire State Consumer Project Director Carol Chittenden thinks that parents that buy these toy guns are bad examples for their kids.
“It's a matter of this being a very vulnerable consumer group. Children buy what they see, and we're not sure this is driven by market demand for assault weapon toys by children or the industry creating the demand,” said Chittenden.

When we were kids we used to pump up our air rifles and stick the tip into the dirt. Then we would shoot the dirt at each other. The funny part is we're still alive today. I wonder what would happen today if kids would do this. I'm sure their parents would freak out.

Yall remember how these smell?

:D
I remember tearing off a section to roll up inside the little revolver. That was a sweet smell from my childhood. Didn't like the acrid smell from those plastic type caps. But, the most enduring fun was with one of these...

Thousands and thousands of BB's fired through mine. I used to pour them in my mouth and blow them through into the feed tube opening, just behind the rear sight.

I do miss the Robert Vaughn commercials for Henson Fuerst. Show them you mean business!

That is the stupidest thing I have heard today, so far.
Bite me NYS.

Toy guns suck these days, Im glad I grew up with cool ones

Anyone have the Panthermatic cap guns in the 80’s? One of mine was a rifle with a detachable mag.

I bought one of those from Walmart a little way back. Far too small to really shoot well, but still a hoot

A whole roll and a hammer will make your grandmother briefly levitate. Pretty impressive boom.
Other than my father yelling at me, this was my first step on the road to hearing loss...... WHAT ?
