Official CFF WNC M&G - Photos, Stories and iffy truths 10/7/2017

Thanks, I'd appreciate knowing the size, @Pbj ak.

The smaller it was, the more I can explain away not being able to hit it. ;) As I recall, it was about 25 yards out.

Lol I hear that. My "reasoning" for getting it was so my old lady could hit something at 7 yards but she rarely shoot anymore.

My approach is...

If I can't hit the target...

I need a bigger target!

I can look when I get home from work tonight though.

I have an 18 x 30 but the one you brought looked smaller to me. Either because it was 25 yards away or because my shooting was even worse than usual.

Sorry brother, I meant to measure but got off late last night and had to be back at 7 this am. I'm off tomorrow and will have the measurements for sure tonight or in the morning.

Does "hangfast" ring a bell with the target and hanger? It looks like they have a similar t-post setup and IPSC 40% and 66% targets available.
@Pbj ak

I tried to come up with something that I could have cut at work but haven't field tested them yet. We don't have a way to bend the steel like most of the t-post hangers that I've seen.

I'm pretty sure that's it. To me they're the best I've seen because they are toolless after you mount it once and they break down and fit in the back of the corolla. I'd like to have a couple more but cant stop buying gun stuff.

Also they are pretty tuff. I've shot them quite a bit including 223 at 25 yards. Still smooth on the front and still nee on the back.

It measures 24 top to bottom and 18 side to side at the biggest point.

The backstory is I shoot a couple magazines thru my Shield, back to the truck to reload and then back to the line. Begin to aim and ask myself, "Self, what's wrong with this (sight) picture?". Seems like a classic case of T F nO.

Had the same thing happen with my Beretta Nano, could not find the front sight, they sent me a new one at no cost.

Well, that's how they come out of the box.
That's odd. Every time I turn the box up and shake it, they always come out and land on the hammer.

I guess that's why they don't send them with the bullets already in the clip or the spinner thing.

They were very good about it. I received the new sight and there is a difference in the way it fits (the fellow said he'd carefully check the dimensions before shipping it to me). I used a pusher to install the first one and I'm wondering whether I somehow damaged it during the install. I have the feeling it "became smaller" when I pushed it in. Gonna have to be very careful this time.
