Just finished building my Old Glory 3% Coffee Table for my man cave, pretty happy with the outcome! It's built out of beefy 8"x8"x6-1/2' timbers on heavy duty casters and sits at 21" high! It weighs around 450 lbs so if somebody tries to steal it then their gonna have to break their back to do it!

That looks pretty darn nice. If someone can pick that up and carry it off, I'd say they could have it.

Pretty sick. Dig the casters, but my back hurts just looking at that beast. What are you going to seal the top with? Epoxy or something? Or just going to let the paint wear with use?

Gonna put a thin glaze of dark wax on the stripes tomorrow morning to help give the cracks some more depth, then give it a light sanding to distress it before I give it a few coats of polyurethane.

That’s a Truck engine building stand disguised as a “ coffee table.

Looks great !

Hope your home is on a slab. That looks awesome.

Is there a reason that you didn't fill the carriage bold holes before painting?

May not be what it is, I just see two holes on one end in the last picture.
