Several years ago I picked up a Green Coleman, single burner stove (white gas type) with the intent of doing a restoration. As time passes and I get honest with myself I don't see the work happening in my lifetime so I need to let it go to someone that will do the restoration.
I'm only in this thing for 15.00 so if there's taker holler up.....
About the only thing broken is the adjustment knob and it still functions. Needs to be cleaned up and tested....

Very cool. I'd take it but being honest with myself, it will sit in my garage for 3 years and then I'd have to do the same thing.

Would you mind posting a picture so I can see what model it is. I recently restored one for a friend model 501. They were short lived because of problems with vaporization. Not many around any more. I still have my 426D (mid sixties). It was the first one I bought myself. Before that I used my parents. Those stoves just work and very little to go wrong

I still have the 2 burner model my Granddad had. Used to cook fish on the tailgate of the station wagon at the outer banks. Still works great when the power goes out. Love those things.

I love the older style Coleman stoves. I've got a single burner model, A 502, I believe. It works great! I bought it with summer tobacco suckering money when I was 12, and I've never had to do any work to it.

I've got an old 1936 Coleman lantern that my Great grandfather used. Still worked the last time I fired it up! Needs a new generator and the chrome tank cleaned out.

No can do right now...It's a mod 502 if that helps..

That works thank you. I am looking for an older one. But for somebody who is interested in it. The knob assembly is still available. They run about $5 for the parts. That is one thing about the Coleman stoves you can still get parts without much of a problem

I still have one of those and went through the trouble of swapping out some parts and seals. They work great in all types of weather where butane/propane mix type camp stoves don't work well in the winter. Nothing like camping in the winter an unable to make hot coffee or cocoa to understand that

For $15.00 I'll take it. Coming through Mooresville anytime soon?

I need to go to Troutman and pick up a prop sometime this week (before Steve starts charging storage fees) That will put me at 150 & 115 (I think) there at Corrines Diner. Let me see what day I'm doing that and I'll holler at you. PM me a number... Would need to meet sometime around noonish....

That's about a mile from where I work. I'm sure we can work something out.
