This is a story about a man who shows up at a Coast Guard station in NJ for a graduation ceremony. The story says he was discovered to be carrying a "machine gun", also referred to in the story as an "assault rifle". So I roll my eyes and think, "lets see if those idiots at the paper actually think that an AR-15 is an automatic weapon". Imagine my shock when I discovered that it really was an automatic weapon! And then further disbelief, when the story has an embedded video from a gun guy who actually explains the difference.
