I just got a Bear Pronghorn Hunter and wanted to know what you all think about them.
I'm not a bow hunter so I am looking for info as to quality and also what it would be worth.
Sorry but at this time I am having issues posting photos from my phone.

Serial # is PH-02538

Thanks,
Ron

Anyone have any info on this bow?

Very old technology.

What do you plan on using it for? Wall-hanger? Target? Hunting?
Wall hanger or sale as I don't bow hunt.
It is in very nice condition, wish I could post a picture.

You might get 50 bucks for it.

Really not worth selling.

Hang it in the man cave.

thread hijack. i haven’t shot a bow since i was a kid and could barely pull a bear whitetail back and the draw length was almost my full wingspan!

what makes the modern bows better? more feet per second with a less pounds of draw?

It takes less poundage to achieve more speed. Speed and arrow weight equals kinetic energy. That equals penetration.

Greater kinetic energy can mean longer shots, if you have the ability.

any tips on a good and reasonably priced "backyard fun shooter" bow? inside of 50 yards?
