Anyone get their prescription glasses online?

I've been looking at a few sites, but not sure who is reliable. I would love to find some glasses I could wear every day and still walk into/onto the range and shoot, without having to keep another pair on me.

It seems to be a challenge to find regular (not bulky framed or tiny lenses) looking glasses that work for shooting and/or general safety. ANSI Z87+ at least or possibly some that are MIL-PRF-32432.

If you are looking for something that won’t break the bank checkout zenni optical. Super cheap. DO NOT SHOOT in them.
Rudy project makes great rx shooting glasses. Wraparound style and they hold up great. C eyewear in Winston salem is a Rudy dealer. Great people. Know one of the owners and while I can’t afford to wear their luxury lenses all the time they are my go to for shooting/sunglasses.

I just ordered my wife a pair for work off of www.rx-safety.com a few weeks ago.
They have a decent selection of frames and lens options, took about a week and a half for them to show up. Also I was able to use our FSA card to pay for them.
No issues with them, probably going to order her another set soon, was super easy, just need to have a copy of current prescription to put the information in.

Thanks for the link, I just ordered myself some. Very helpful chat lady! These things can only help me....lol.

Walmart optical had safety glasses when I was there this weekend.

I’ve had good luck with Wiley rx glasses also. Trust their quality.

Any of these sites have a try before you buy option?
I've noticed that I have trouble with my current glasses when shooting prone. The lenses do not extend up high enough or the glasses are not staying high enough on my nose. I end up having to push them up every time or else I am looking over the top of them trying to focus on that front site.

I have bought from them for years and wear them every day. They do have periodic 20-25% off sales if you get on their mailing list. Pay attention to the dimensions of the frames and what fits your face- its easy to order a set of frames with the wrong sizes. If you have a set already that physically fit your head well, copy those numbers down and shop based on similar sizes.

I switched over from Wiley-X to Hunters HD Gold this year for shooting. I really like the yellow lens that transition to dark as it gets brighter. Where are you located? Bryan from Hunters will be at the 2gun rimfire state match @ DPRC on the 9th. You can try them on there and talk to him about getting your RX in them.
