Long story short my ar10 has a Nikon with exposed turrets and some how one got knocked and now I have to verify zero on the cusp of rifle season. Looking for suggestions on a 1-4/6/8 that does not have exposed turrets, FFP preferred but not necessary, any decent options out there?

What price range? I’ve been eyeing a 1-8 for a new rifle. I have been considered the lower end primary arms option. It is SFP but it seems to me like the reticle would be too small to see with a LPVO in FFP on lower magnification settings. I have a primary arms 4-16 on a 22 bergara b14r that has been great so far. Price point is usually the limiting factor. The Primary Arms ACSS scopes are an incredible value. They just work. The PLx doesn't have covered turrets, but they have to be lifted up to change them.

I like the Price/Performance of the Vortex PST Gen2 1-6x24. Really hard to beat for the money. Although it is 2nd FP.
