What optics would you guys recommend for a guy with old man eyes to put on his tack driving Ruger Mark II Target?
Open to any suggestions, be it scope, red dot/green dot, reflex etc.

I have a fastfire and love it, but i'd recommend the holosun 507c.

Bigger sight picture and large 32moa circle and 2 moa dot.

I'd recommend the Vortex venom. Same footprint as the Burris but in my experience the dot is brighter and I haven't had any issues with the 4-5 I own.

I've an antique Tasco Pro Point on a Slab Side, I'll hit 1 out ten times a golf ball at 100 yards.
My Hunter has a Burriss FF3, it's not as crisp of a dot or sight picture as the tube TPP.
I suggest you put your hands/eyes on several different models.

Not gonna use it for competition, use it for plinking and squirrels, teach the grand-kids to shoot etc.
Just old eyes, my far vision is good, need glasses for anything closer than my arms can reach, cataracts slipping in but not enough to warrant surgery yet.
I just can't use the iron sights like I used to.

Sucks. It's happening to me, too!

Whippersnappers: there's readers and red dots in your future!

If I can find it, I have a dovetail mount for a fast fire that you can have. If I can find it......

I found parts of it, but not all parts of it LOL.

Is your MK II drilled and tapped? Not all were.....
