I've had my old Felt F4C since 2006! I've got at least 50k miles on it. It's been a great ride but has been a little long in the tooth for quite a while now.
I've been researching new bikes for a few months now. I finally decided on the Felt VR Advanced Ultegra model. The problem is finding one. I found a Felt dealer today that says he can have one for me in about 2 weeks.
I sure hope that he is telling me the truth because he got a down payment from me today!
I can't wait to see how much the technology has changed. Everyone tells me that the geometry, disc brakes, carbon fiber wheels with big tubeless tires are light years ahead of what I've been riding for the last 17 years. I did keep a little "old school" in it with the mechanical shifting. I just couldn't see another $1k for electronic shifting.
