Owner of outdoor limited has lost his Mind

So when you are trying to figure out how much people are jacking up the price. MidwayUSA sold 4 bricks of the Brownning BPR today for $160. If you could have bought 4 at Sportsman's it would have been $104. That is an extra $54 to MidwayUSA. for the exact same product on the same day.

Federal bulk 22LR was $.11 at Natchez today.

I was not there but I get updates on FB. They post when they get shipments. The limit you to one bulk box or 2 regular boxes.
I don't have Facebook anymore I've been labeled a domestic terrorist. Awesome it's staying in stock though. That's a good sign.

It will sell out as fast as they can ring it up but the limits will keep it in stock longer than it would if it was a free for all. To me it illustrates what the "current" price should be vs what is a particular retailers mark up. Not everyone pays the same price you can sort of ballpark the numbers.

Yeah I've been using natchez to gauge how bad LGS are gouging stuff. There's a fine line of a local guy isn't getting much ammo and he has to sell at an inflated price and just raping people. I'm not sure where that line is but I understand if you're getting 50% less boxes then sure you're going to charge 2x as much because you need to meet x profit margins but there's a line where they take advantage.

Capitalism is what it is, but when the dust settles my business is staying with the places that stay in line, But I'm not an FFL or a gun store so judging that price is kind of hard. I feel tul 223 for $1 a round is rape though... And I see that often where I live lol.

There have been small operations creating buyer groups to buy larger quantities because its easier and cheaper to handle the bigger orders. One of the owners of a store gave me the pricing. They have had small distributor increases given the retail price. The store is not his main salary so he is selling 9mm at $.35 per round. Those rounds are not on display. He doesn’t even ask about anything other than 9mm, 556, and 22. Others seem to be non existent so he stopped inquiring. At $1 a round Outdoor Limited is making bank when in stock. Same with Midway.

I've bought some from OL but no more. I'll stick with Natchez from here on out.

Right now 380 auto is the worst. Today I shot $.005 BBs in the backyard and into my new BB catch. For now it is going to be my go training.
