Picked up a new to me P239 Two Tone SAS 9mm today. Looks like about a 2008 model. It has a few little handling marks but overall in very good condition. The owner had the barrel DLC coated because he didn't like the Sig finish. Rails look really good. Bonus of 5 like new mags. Not sure how I will mod it going forward, but leaning towards Crimson Trace lasergrips. Maybe X ray sights. I've had several P239s in the past and have always been fond of them. Photos below.

Those are great guns. Nice snag

Fantastic looking pistol, maybe a little dated compared to the new wizbang micro 9s but I bet it's a shooter!

I agree it's dated - for the most part. A family member is a retired SWAT Sgt/instructor and the 239 is his carry gun. He shoots it much better than his G43 or Sig P365 (even better than his P229).

Yeah it's hard to go wrong with classic 2xx series sigs. Such great pistols. I have limited range time with a 239, but I always enjoyed them.

I remember first time I saw one a 239 at the gun store. Seemed so exotic and sweet at the time. And compact!

Guns have changed and gotten smaller, but that gun will always remain just as effective and capable as the day it rolled out of the factory.

My housemate carried a P239 (it was an NYPD authorized off-duty gun for a little while) and I carried the HK P7. They were the same capacity and almost the exact same dimensions.

I had the .40 and two 9mm. It was THE best shooting .40 I have ever owned (and I am not a fan of that round), and the 9mm versions were equally excellent. A lot of guns I have gotten rid of I don't regret, but the 9mm p239, I do.

I replaced the short reach trigger with a standard P239 trigger. It's still a short reset but with standard trigger. Also installed Crimson Trace lasergrips on it. Just need to shoot it tomorrow and adjust the laser. Should be a good one!
