The TWO that I built, I have more that what I could have purchased a new Glock. BUT... I have a lot of custom parts so have less than what a Glock plus custom parts would have cost. IMHO, one builds an 80% anything because one wants the learning experience and the fun of making it yourself.

I have probably around $700 (+/-) in it without the holosun. I got the holosun on sale for $209 from palmetto. I added a couple non OEM parts in the build which added to the total. Overall I'm very happy with it. I have at least 1000 rounds through it so far. No problems. Learned a lot about the Glock doing this which was a big bonus IMO.
