Looks like an interesting new take on a zombie-esque story.

Dayum! Being stuck with a zombie rat in an air duct?!

I'm guessing this is not from the Joe Ledger series.

That's what I assumed, that it was based of the Jonathan Maberry series

Funny, I just said something to @Chdamn on Tuesday about this book and series
I really enjoyed the first three books of the series, 4th started to lose me and I gave up on the series

Yeah this one lost me about halfway through the first book.

I can’t put my finger on why I just didn’t find it kept my attention.

Now the black tide rising series by john ringo, Arisen series by Glynn James, the tide series by Anthony Melchiorri and the purge of Babylon series by Sam sisovath are all zombie series I recommend and they are all very different from standard zombie fare and all unique.

Black tide rising is probably my favorite just because it is the one that’s the most believable.

It lost me too. I wasn't interested in going further in the series.

It has a similar theme with "The Girl With All the Gifts" from 2016.

Train to Busan (2016) from South Korea was decent IMO.

Think this one may be available already

Last night I watched PZ
To call it a B movie would be high praise.
It's got a couple 'names' - the main guy was Doctor Who in Britain for a long time (apparently, I dont know), and then the guy in the still at the very top is recognizable, but I dont know much of him (name, what he's been in).
Also, there's a girl that I looked up and she was in the Hunger Games series and some other things, but, again, not a household name.

Anyway it's climax isnt that climatic.
Its ending is just meh
Im not upset I watched it, and at least I finished it (I started the night by watching Team America World Police and got about 25 minutes before I deleted from my DVR).
But I just didnt care much for it overall

The guy in the still is Stanley Tucci. He's been in a LOT of movies in mostly second string roles. The Core and The Devil Wears Prada are two that stick out, but he's been in a LOT of stuff.

I liked the movie, but I didn't love it. I agree with you about the ending. Just meh.....

Yeah I recognize him from things, but, as you said, always a secondary part
And he was in this too. Like, maybe, 12 minutes of screentime max
