Looking for some ideas on how you guys are putting your SBR or braced pistols in the safe. Mine was ok laying on the racks when I only had a couple but now with some bullpups, a couple of braced subguns and other stuff im flat out of room and theres no way I see to stand these things up!

I already have some cases of ammo in the bottom on safe to get my 16" ARs to fit.

I use those orange driveway marker rods that are like 36". Trim to fit the length you need and drop in the barrel. Makes contact with the cutout of the shelf and keeps everything upright. Also lets me know that anything that has a rod in it is unloaded.

Wooden dowel rod from Lowe's. I'm also considering a wall mounted rack system above my box.

On the rare occasion that it’s in the safe. My AR 9 is in the bag and leaning against another rifle. The other AR pistols are on shelves.

Dowel/rod mentioned above is a neat idea. I have 2 safes right now. the newer safe is much more modular so far as shelving is concerned so I was able to adjust for the heights. I miss my vault room. I forgot how much of a pain in the @$$ it is getting out a specific firearm, or even keeping them in a 'cruiser ready' (correct term for loaded mag in, chamber empty?) condition when in a safe.

Mine stand up and lean against the rest, just like everything else.

These are the bomb. No reason you can’t duplicate them with some dowel rods, wooden discs and Velcro.

I have a few sets of these, they work well. I also have some silicone impregnated gun socks so select few don't get scratched

I use 5mm carbon fiber rods, used for r/c planes and arrows, get them on ebay by the dozen.

I've got some of my short ones stacked horizontally on the top and middle shelf. I only have three "long" guns that reach all the way through to the top through the divider holes. The right side has a small shelf about halfway down for some of the shorter ones. It's a horrible inconvenient messl. I'm doing a vault when we do a custom home.
