Just starting this, not quite sure what I am watching yet with the shows hairband dance intro lol.

watched the first three, I thought they were entertaining but not great. This is written and directed by James Gunn who did Guardians of the Galaxy and 2021 Suicide Squad.

I think if you liked the 2021 suicide squad you’ll also be entertained by this. It’s a continuation of the same storyline with a similar theme and humor. More boobs in this so if you are watching with kids be aware

Gotta watch the end credits scene of Suicide first.

I think Robert Patrick is great to play Cena’s dad,
But come on,
How cool would it have been to have George Clooney from 1997’s Peacemaker movie where he played a badass specops guy who eventually (implied) bangs Nicole Kidman like a Chinese gong?

Watched the post-credits scene from Suicide Squad 2, and then Peacemaker Ep1 one last night. It’s definitely “rougher” than anything else DC/Marvel has done. Not really a fan of that aspect, but I’ll probably watch the other two tonight.
 
John Cena is funny in this. I enjoyed he first three episodes but it probably isn’t for everyone. Pretty raunchy at times so not kid friendly.

I put it kinda in the same league as futureman on Hulu. Just as raunchy.
 
Okay this show is more fun than I can normally have with my wife home.

The butt baby joke killed me.

About to start episode 4.

I noticed something. The opening dance routine, it’s ridiculous and silly. Let’s me know “buckle up buttercup, you about to see some real schlock!”

I love it!

I feel this was missing from Suicide Sqaud. I mean part 2, as part 1 was not great. 2 was good, up until the giant starfish “Starro the Conqueror,” farts out a bunch of tiny starfish from its armpit. It was just to silly, kind of distracting.

One of the few shows where I refuse to hit Skip Intro. I laugh every time I watch it.
 
My buddy recommended it to me, going to give it a go this weekend. One of my kids loves the newest Suicide Squad, mostly for the shark. Every time he’s on screen he burst out laughing.

Good idea. I just did this and got a better understanding.

 
Glad this one got bumped. I’ve been so focused on working through Bosch that I forgot this one wasn’t over. Had two episodes left…watching one now.
