Penumbral Lunar Eclipse for Night of 4 JUL (2020)

A short, 3-hour penumbral lunar eclipse might be visible tomorrow night (i.e. 4JUL) - starting at 2300 (EDT) but probably better seen around midnight. Nothing spectacular, but if one were otherwise enjoying outdoor evening festivities, it might be worth a look.

I think so ... about half (the northern half) will be shadowed at maximum (~ 0025 of the 5th - just after midnight).

Probably nothing to make an event around ... just mentioned it though in case folks were up and about for the holiday evening.
