People never learn

And in the next 2-3 months, if everything goes smooth, the market will be flooded with used (most likely, unfired) firearms, because “Guess we don’t need these anymore.”

And the vicious cycle continues.

I’m pretty sure there are now millions of folks that never before imagined they’d need a firearm. I watched a couple of them in a tiny LGS near me yesterday. The clerk was explaining the difference between a revolver and semi.

Im not convinced of this.
If Blue wins...well, demand will still be high because theyve been threatening to take them throughout the whole election cycle.
If Red wins, the riot/protest stuff will really ramp up and the stuff we've seen so far will look like the County Fair.

I agree with you @draco88. I don’t see people selling off that one gun they bought. People sell guys when they have multiple guns. People have seen the ease which chaos happens. Americans are afraid of the new norm as they call it. They will keep that gun and a supply of toilet paper. I don't expect many become active participants in the shooting sport. After all these are the masses who new saw the need before. I doubt 50 percent of these will ever own more than one box of ammo. When they find out ammo can’t even be found they will not take a chance in getting stuck without something.
