The Florence Gun Show turned out better than a lot of us expected with the Virus Scare. Good Crowd yesterday and today. I think most dealers did pretty well or at least made enough to make it worthwhile. Didn't see much panic buying but one vendor I know pretty well did sell 10 new AR Pistols yesterday. Ammo sales weren't as major as I would have expected after hearing about the shortages and that comment is based on how many people I saw with bags and boxes of ammo they purchased, so it is more of an educated guess. One thing that was surprising to me was it seemed most of the guns purchased were long guns and most of those were target and hunting guns. Other than the one dealer mentioned before, I saw very few other AR's being purchased.
I was glad to see a good show in Florence as the last couple were horrible. Also was nice to see the Virus wasn't scaring everybody away. As of right now the Show at the Columbia fairgrounds is still a go and will go as scheduled unless the government will now allow it to happen
