Members,

I am getting requests for personal training programs. I wanted to make a public post and explain how I do these events for you.

The average personal program is 2-3 hours a range trip, typically once a month with me for as many times you want to participate. Rates @ $25 an hour + a $35 visitor range fee. "if you are a member of Woody's Hunting club no range fee". The only add to cost is if you need a role player for force on force. If so, it's double the hour rate x hours trained to pay for the adversaries time and mine.

Depending on the discipline and your end goal focus, I design a training package for our hours and send you home with a practice schedule of dry fire and live fire drills that develop your practice time at your home range. Each scheduled event we build upon your skills at your pace and get you to the end goal you have in mind.

Examples of end goals I have worked with my private students include:
  • Learning techniques for fighting with a pistol
  • Precision Rifle
  • Carbine skills for competition or self-defense
  • Focus on reloads, accuracy, and manual of arms with pistols, carbines and hunting rifles
  • Understanding the ballistic drop for an upcoming Colorado Elk trip
  • Shooting on the move pistol, carbine
  • Learning mil-dots, holdovers, ranging
  • Learning structure clearing, defensive setup for home protection
  • Active shooter training as an armed civilian.
  • Force on force training pistol or Ar-15
These are just examples of program end goals designed around past students.

If interested let me know. As far as scheduling goes, I am more open during the weekdays than weekends. But we can hammer it out at that time.

FYI,

I got a lot out of the precision rifle class and force on force class I did with Jon. This is a good opportunity if you are interested.

I have done a couple mano-e-mano with @JBoyette , it's good training, and you will NEVER get such a good hourly rate....

Thanks @Chuckman and @Climberman for the thumbs up.

One thing i love is how all of us have different views on life and are still respectful of everyone.

My rates are low and thats because training is a part time gig for me, i enjoy the training as much as my students do. I also shoot during the training and when i make a error, I show the student how to recover from it.

Thats coaching and development of skill not mimicking YouTube like some are found to do...
