The Boston Bruins Hal Gill was given the opportunity to put on the parachutes that Fort Bragg Airborne troops jump with every day during a USO sponsored visit to the Fort Bragg Parachute Packing Facility June 7 2016.

Sargent First Class John Roper, of the 82nd Civil Affairs Battalion, reads while waiting for his flight from Pope Army Airfield. About 100 soldiers from units included Fort Bragg's 27th Public Affairs Detachment, the 35th Signal Brigade from Fort Gordon, Georgia, and the 82nd Civil Affairs Battalion from Fort Stewart, Georgia deployed Nov. 10, 2014 to Africa to support Operation United Assistance.
