Pics from Geezers farewell salute

If you've shot that carjacker drill you would know how practical of a training scenario that white lawn chair and junk car door really is. It opened my eyes.
This^
It made me see that I can actually hit a target while sitting in a car and having to torque my torso and arm around to hit the bad guy on the far left, and that I can hit 2 guys and do it pretty fast (for me.)

I haven't done it in months, but would be interested is seeing if I've gotten my speed up even a little.

I was wondering what the car door was for, and now I understand. I’d like to try this next time.

This just popped up on my Likes notifications. It's hard to believe that this was just over 2 years ago. It was a great send off with a lot of friends in attendance. I miss you all more than you know.

Time surely flies.
I'm thankful to have been a part of it even though I was a bit sad.
Miss you too.

My condolences to family and friends. Rest in Peace.

Just seeing this for a Long time.... @Geezer is On The Way..returning for a visit.....I am looking forward to seeing my friend again.
This place of "ours" [CFF Members] is forever changed....it will Not go on much longer...If you were thinking of a visit...Now Is The Time......The End Draweth Nye......My Soul Is Wounded, Not To Be Healed. Come enjoy this wonderful old place with it's 300 year old oak trees. It and all like it are fast fading...One of the last bastions of the Old World Southern Genteel. Where the smell of leather, the feel of blue steel and ivory and where a friend's handshake can be a healing balm. I would like one more time to see @Brangus
@BASIL @svtf150 @KnotRight @Ikarus1 and Jill and All the others that haven't been here in too long. I expect to see @Jeppo and @Gunbelt and others in the next few days. Our regulars and you know who you are, I want you to know that your friendship in the last 2 months, has kept this old man going. BUT, I Am old. I have little to impart to the faithful Alumni in the way of the gun. However, rest assured, as long as I am on this side of the river, I will be at your disposal if you even Think I can help you solve a problem. My friend @Etruett, and my niece Samantha have been invaluable to me, even more here lately. You will see them if you visit with us while Larry is here.

Know this without doubting, before our friend @Geezer comes back for another visit, more of us will have crossed the river. And once again those among us will think....if only....my Old Pard arrives tomorrow and leaves Monday at first daylight.....to those of you that he will be visiting with as he heads North....drink in his company....he is a fine man and.................they are growing fewer and fewer.

While you are on this thread look back and remember all The Great Times we shared Together here under THE BATTERY OAKS.
A little over two weeks and hope to see you!

For what it is worth, my heart has grieved deeply for you Billy. Your sorrow is plain to see in your postings. The old joy and "twinkle in your tone" has faded. While we arent on good terms, just know that I'm praying for you. I know your wife is awaiting on you on the other side. But also know that many here absolutely love you and cherish their time and friendship with you. So, while you may feel alone at times and missing that big ol'piece of your heart that isn't here anymore you are well loved by many and cherished still. You're time of offering love, friendship, guidance, and advice may be shorter than it was, but it is still precious, and needed.

God speed

I'm so glad my Pard Larry showed this to me....and to you @B00ger...thanks to you for your heartfelt note.....Billy

Even though we haven't been on good terms for some time, my heart does break for you. I will treasure the times we had. I will pray for peace for you.
