The price for Photobucket, to host and link pictures, is out of my league. Where do I find instructions on this site, to link pictures from my computer, or phone, to my threads? I've looked for them and SS, FF. That don't indicate Started Second and Finished First.

Happy trails,
Larry

Taptalk makes uploading pictures EXTREMELY easy.

Agreed. However, have you read their policies?

I haven't read their policies. Don't intend to. If I were to develop a sense of trust with them, at some point in the future, they could make themselves a pay site, just like PB. I have plenty of storage space.

I thought you might enjoy a pic of my gal's little brother. He's a robust little rascal. Another future Glockaholic?

Regarding posting of pictures, I tried multiple times to post pictures earlier today and I couldn't. I tried uploading a file, put them on a photobucket site, and then in Dropbox with no success. Then I realized that I might want to try from a different browser (I was using Chrome). When I used Firefox, the picture upload worked just fine. Is there some reason it didn't work with Chrome?

Probably has flash disabled

Nope, still didn't work. Is there another setting I can try? I'm also having trouble playing html5 videos in Chrome. Maybe they're related.

When I tried to upload a file, I could select the file, but it wouldn't move to the upload progress bar. When I tried to post in internet photo, it just showed with nothing in it.

I'm OK using Firefox or Epic. I just usually like Chrome better and it's more convenient to use it for CFF, too.

Honestly I have no idea. I just don't use chrome. Pretty much just Firefox

I resize my pics to a reasonable size on my computer.

I then hit "post reply" and just drag picture into reply box.

It will then ask you if you want full size or thumbnail and it will do the rest for you. One of the many reasons I love this site.

Hey everybody. I'm having trouble uploading photos from my droid. I click upload then choose file and nothing happens. Any advice will be appreciated

Looks like it's working from my Android. Shoot me a PM and I can try to help.

It works now. I was using bing. I logged into site from chrome and all is good now. I was finally able to load a avatar pic.

Imgur is pretty easy and free

Works fine for me in Chrome (when I remember to do it right, which I often don't )

For those of you using an ipad, this “shortcut” which is really just simple scripting, will resize photos locally, also save them as jpg from whatever they were.

I greatly regret I looked at this thread. I have an appointment at 1 to have the image of the Glock girl bleached from my retinas. I only hope that is soon enough to prevent permanent damage ;)

I'm here to tell you, DON'T LOOK at the first picture in this thread. It took my opthalmologist four applications of Chuck Norris strength eye bleach to restore my vision.

Friends don't let Friends use photobucket.
