I remember it well. I would be happy if that is the worst thing a politician does. It does not excuse Dan for his poor spelling, but he was handed a card by the organizers of the spelling bee that had it misspelled on the card. I dare say he learned from his mistake and did not make the same mistake over and over again.

You can own AK's in NY.

If it's a standard configuration, it had to have been registered by 2014, or you can still buy new ones but they have to be neutered to fit the restrictions. Same with AR's and other semi's.

I lived in that county for 50+ years until recently - just happy that it's being run by a Republican again, we've had several gun-grabbing Dems in charge for quite a while. 1.4 million people live in that 450 square miles - that voted for Biden.....
