I found a picture of one of my 1911's so here it is my first 1911 the Remington 1911 R1.

One of my Novak blasters. Built by the late Joe Bonar on a Wilson Combat frame and slide. One of the last pistols built by Joe before his untimely death. I swapped out the Novak sights for a set of Trijicon HDs.

Finally got all the pieces. Passes function tests, slide/frame is tight. Ed Brown BTGS doesn't fit the radius very well so I haven't blended it. Probably ditch the old take-off short trigger. Mag guide still needs blending and sights are on the agenda. Otherwise if she shoots I'm happy for a minute.

Newly acquired Springfield GI champion model...
I have one! It's a most unusual Commander-wannabe... GI exterior but inside the feed ramp's on the bushingless barrel an' it's got a full length guide rod. Mine choots the lights out!

I've had 4 1911s over the years, Colt Series 70 blue, Colt Lightweight Officers two tone, AMT Longslide Hardballer and Double Star railed frame. Don't have the Colts anymore but the Longslide wears a Michagian Armament upper and DS now wears my Colt .22LR conversion.

Who made that knife?

Gorgeous

Don't remember, picked it up at a Gun & Knife Show in Pigeon Forge around 95' or so. Great skinning deer.

I have seen that design and almost identical handle. I just can't place the maker off the top of my head.
