Post Your Furry Friends...

We're not so bright... added a 8 week old puppy yesterday, along with an 8 yr old Rottie, 5 yr, 3 yr, 4 week grandsons and a granddaughter due to arrive Dec 20th. My furniture, rugs, home's going to be trashed. She rode home on my wife from Charlotte like this for over 2 hours.IMG_0067.jpg

Mad that we came back inside, wanting to go run the birds and squirrels off

She still doesn't look very excited about the cold.

Coincidently, that's how my girl came to be named Snow. My wife and I couldn't decide on a name, and it snowed the day after she came to live with us, so we got several days off work to stay home with her in the very beginning.

Our little thing suffered in the cold last year and wasn't very excited about it this year...until mom gave her a jacket.
Im not one for doggy clothes, and she wasn't sure about it at first, but she warmed up to the idea real quick.
Kids were in and out all day. By the time afternoon came around, when they would be getting coats and gloves on, Leia would get her little red jacket and bring it to me to put on her lol.
Turns out she likes to play in the snow lol
Happy kids, happy dog :)

Surprisingly, quite the opposite. All she wants to do is go out. And when we get out there she pulls like a sled dog trying to run through it. When I take her for a walk, she does at least 2x the distance because she zooms back and forth as far as the 6' leash will allow her.

Thanks man! He’s of modest intelligence but well intentioned. Definitely the best dog we’ve ever had and really good with the kids. My son (6 mo) is crazy about him. He was a rescue from Orange Co. Animal Shelter.
He definitely looks even tempered with all that junk piled on him lol.
And good on you for taking on a rescue. He looks really happy.

Grover is good looking, but not too bright. We was sitting in Slappys' living room. Saw deer (several) about 15' away out back window. Let Grover out....cuz we're easily entertained and know Grover is fast...... and wanna see what happens.

Grover walked around. Lifted his leg on a bunch of stuff. Sniffed a bit. Came back in. Never noticed deer at all!

Edit: But he makes up for it with sweetness and exuberance.

I lost my best freiend today just a few days short of her 16th birthday. I have lost friends and family before and none of it compares to the pain I am feeling now. My wife and I have no children so she was the closest thing to a daughter I have ever had and we have considered her our child. I have been crying like a baby on and off for hours now and feel like my soul is being ripped from me. I will post a picture when I am at my main computer as this tablet sucks. Thanks for listening.

So sorry SF, sincere condolences.

So sorry for your loss. They truly are family members.

Bailey Rey has become a big fan of the Christmas tree. I wrapped presents a couple days ago and left her a spot where she could still get under there for a nap (will have to snag a pic of that later).

(Hasn’t messed with any ornaments or gifts so far)

...and she’s also very intrigued by baby Jesus. :D
