Post Your Furry Friends...

Somebody loves the “cheese” bone Santa Paws left in her stocking.

And surprisingly didn’t pitch too big a fit when we put the Christmas sweater on the neighbors bought for her...just long enough for the obligatory “thank you” text.

While Leia is very smart, expressive, a bit clumsy, and an absolute sweetheart...I'm convinced that she's a little retarded, too lol.
Ever since she was a pup, she's had to protect momma from those evil mops

And if momma gets out her little dremel tool for fingernails, Leia hides like I'll protect her from it

But let momma vacuum the floor, and not only is she not scared of it, that little retard runs up and ASKS to be vacuumed. Never had a dog that liked to be in the same room with one, never mind vacuuming the damn things head lol.

We have two rescue pups. The first we got 8 years ago from the Durham APS. She is part Italian Greyhound and part American Staffordshire bull terrier (the little pit bulls.) She is essentially an Italian Greyhound on steriods. The other we just got this past year from Hope Animal Rescue. He is mostly rat terrier, and we're not sure what else. He's an ornery little fella.

Bonnie is super lazy but ventured out into the snow to bark at Dutch the lab. She still came back and peed on the walkway that I just shoveled.

Here's Red. He was picked up by animal control after his owner died and the father got stuck with him and let him roam wild.

4 years old and has a few issues. He wad already adopted once and the new owner got nervous about him with his kids. Mainly he doesn't like being told what to do. Has bitten me twice (not hard but enough to draw blood) and we are working on his manners. I don't know if he will make it as an adoptable dog though.

Glad to see him with someone that is trying to help him. I have been helping my mom with foster dogs for several years now. We have 3 that are foster failures so we kept them.... lol I have 3 dogs personally ( a 110lb German shepherd, 120lb rottweiler, and a 45lb hound mix) all came from the pound or no one would take them.

I think if people could see what these dogs go through they would be alot more adopting. Keep it up my friend! You are truly saving lives :)

Thank you for giving him a good home. Don't give up, I bet he'll come around and be polite, and a best friend.

The Dynamic Duo- Licky Nick and the Evil Genius

Until recently my mom raised them. She liked the wire hair the most so she focused on them but over the years she's had smooth and long hair as well. This is mine and one of her pups. The gray doofus is a rescue we brought home a couple of weeks ago.
