I'm not seeing an option to choose the size when uploading from my iPhone. It only does the thumbnail. However, if I upload pic and post my reply, I can then edit my post and choose the size. Weird.

From iPad I have the same tools as shown in my videos. Full size, post from a file or URL...
 
I see exactly 5 buttons available. my screen looks nothing at all like the one you're using in the video.

use a photo sharing site such as Photobucket to host the pics, the copy the URL to here. My first video.
 
That was nice not needing to use a host site for pictures.
 
I can't tell from the posts here if yall got it figured out yet. Use the upload attachments button at the right. You don't need a host site other than your own computer or wherever you find the pic on the internet.

Uploading from an iPad....you have to watch close to see where I'm tapping on the screen.

I have done all that and what is happening is that when I hit the send to server button nothing happens. I then get a message about the URL missing. Wonder if this is a Safari issue? I am going to try another browser and see what happens. I'll report back in a bit.

Yup, Safari doesn't seem to play nice. I use Chrome on the iOS.
 
Ok, using Chrome isn't getting me there either. It tells me it has too bytes and is over the limit. It is just a photo taken with ipad. Nothing special. Going to try a iphone pic and see how that works.
 
Phone pics work, but ipad pics don't. So I don't think it is the browser. There must be a difference in the pics. I'll just have to take pics with phone only I guess. Now on to my avatar again and see if I can get that crappy box corner to drag.

Ok, so I'm trying to post a pic from my Android phone. Initially I got the 900000 too big message. Then after following the steps in your vid, when I clicked the send to server icon nothing happened and when I clicked OK it just sent me to the previous page. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
